BEPENSA implements latest technology in Voice Direct Picking!
Bepensa, a leading producer and distributor for Coca Cola beverages located at México´s Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico, is achieving higher accuracy rates in its distribution center in Merida, Mexico since the implementation of the speaker independent voice topSpeech-Lydia solution from TopVOX Corp., based in Barrington, IL.
As the leading beverage distributor of the Yucatan, Bepensa Bebidas must constantly focus to improve its logistical services. With hundreds of delivery trucks going in and out each day it is imperative that all trucks are loaded with the proper orders for on-time delivery. It is for this reason that Bepensa decided to implement the voice recognition system on the VOXter hardware from TopVOX.
The VOXter is a solid, portable dedicated PDA, operating on Microsoft Windows Mobile 2005 for Pocket PC. Contrary to other devices, the VOXter weighs less than 9 ounces and is a revolutionary solution to use in industrial environments.
